Looking back at all the posts I've made on this blog reminds me how much I really miss blogging and how little I actually blog now. This isn't going to be another boring update of things I have been up to recently. Rather, I just want to share a few photos of the 4 day weekend I was lucky enough to have last week. I didn't get up to much but I did, however manage to occupy myself, whether it was to spend time with my friends, family or just time for myself. I am really happy that I got to make plans and catch up with my school friends as well as complete a few homework tasks and have a great get together with my family. I am also happy about the fact that I didn't let the 4 days go to waste, I mean it's not every week that you get a 4 day weekend.
On the Friday, a few friends and I went to a local cafe for brunch. We ate, chatted and just roamed around the area. Afterwards I went home and enjoyed an afternoon of reading in my backyard and writing in my journal. The weather was lovely and I loved the fact that I was actually outside, soaking up the sunshine before Winter decides to kick in.

Later that night, I went out for dinner with another group of friends. We went to a cosy Korean eatery and it definitely spiced up the chilly night. Literally. A few of the dishes we ordered were spicyyyy but undoubtedly a great change to the what I usually have for dinner. I had a wonderful time stuffing my stomach with loads of food and it was made even better with the bunch of people I was with. Both the food and the company were incredible :)
Saturday came by, my sister and I went to New Market and basically looked around and shopped for most of the time. The place was immaculate, classy and vibrant in the sense of how it makes you feel really happy, especially with the sun beaming down upon the place. I remember how refreshing I felt and the boost of confidence it gave me. Like you know how you say, get your nails done and you just feel better of yourself? Yeah, that's like what I felt at that time and I don't know any other way of explaining it.
Sunday morning was family breakfast morning. Despite the rainy weather, we all got up early and headed out for breakfast. We spent the morning just eating, joking, talking, and of courseeee, shopping. The day went by fast and before I knew it, Monday has rolled by, It felt great to get to stay in bed for longer than other Monday mornings since school was out. I spent the day catching up on homework (obviously didn't leave it until last minute), reflecting on my year so far and setting goals for the new month. I got to organize my priorities and I just feel like I've accomplished heaps, I mean I've ticked off everything of my to do list so I'd say it was pretty productive :)
I don't think four days have gone by any faster, I guess time does pass fast when you're having fun. Shout out to all my friends for making my life more interesting, exciting and a lot more joyful and my blog readers for motivating me to share all my happiness with you.
I hope June treats you well and you make the most of everyday.
xoxo, Carley
